TRASH TITAN (the lost album)

Harry Harrison With big hard hitting percussion and riffs (as per Led Zeppelin) in ‘Painted Lady’ and a raw blues feel (as per Paw) in ‘The Dog Song’ there is nothing not to like about this "Lost Album". I’ve had this one kicking about in my wishlist for some time and my only regret is not getting it sooner. It's dirty, hard, southern stoner blues that’ll roll around in your head long after you’ve heard it. Favorite track: The Dog Song.

Grégoire Guery I love everything about that record from the nasty riffs to the the raw vocals through that infectious groove and overall fun they obviously had writing and recording that stuff! Favorite track: The Dog Song.

Eric Kruse Kick-ass Blooze Rock (was that "Jessie's Girl" I heard in "The Rock Song"?) These guys would be fun to see live! Favorite track: Devil With a Fake ID.

about

10 Songs about gambling, booze, whores, gun fights and wizards. Plus a song about a sick dog that... well, if it doesn't bring a tear to your eye, you're probably a robot.

Originally recorded in 2009, Trash Titan's first record was never officially released. It was just handed it out at shows on CD-Rs. In fact we handed out so many that we accidentally gave away our master copy and due to reasons beyond our control (evil wizards), the ProTools sessions were irretrievable. So essentially the album was "lost," until I happened upon a copy cleaning out my place getting ready to move.

So now, TT's debut is finally available as a digital download. Huzzah!

This was the two-piece iteration of the band. Jeff "Broadsword" Broady on drums, Collyn McCoy on vocals and "baguitar," which was really just a Les Paul copy strung up with both bass strings and guitar strings and tuned for open slide playing. A more primitive, bloozy affair than the 2010 EP (which added Rob Burns on proper guitar thus allowing Collyn to return to his native instrument, the proper bass), Trash Titan's debut was like something nasty from the gutter you can't quite scrape off you shoe. Picture the Black Keys getting anally violated by Black Sabbath while Howlin' Wolf guzzles Everclear cut with swamp sludge and you're in the AAA ball park.

Hope you cretins enjoy it.

Sludgy swamp blues. Dirty songs about drinking, carousing and carrying on, full of mean mistreaters, jealous husbands, good dogs and bad men.
